wellthings are soooo great. i think.

summer is going exactly as i thought it would: hectic, buggy, sticky hot, and totally unorganized. so basically things are normal.

i had my birthday a few weeks back. i am now officially 40 years old. once long ago, though it was just the other day for me, i thought 40 would be the age when i'd be set for life, have lots of stuff, and enjoying all the stuff i had fugured out. man, was i wrong. i'm still just a kid, as everyone older than me still tells me, and i have pretty much the same problems i had 20 years ago. i think the only difference is that i used to be uncomfortable in my skin 70% of tghe time, and now i'm down to 51%.
