Last November, when I heard it was write a novel month, it finally struck.  It was time to get off the fence and DO what I had only been wishing for the last... forever. So I put together one of my old ideas that I'd been kicking around for the last decade, wrote up a plot, and started to write.  At present I'm at 34,000 words. The process has been amazing!  To capture those creative feelings and realize them onto the screen. The plan is to publish, of course, but before that I'm also going to write several short stories.  The first of which was written tonight. Hello to the world, though I've been absent for what feels like five million years, and in relative terms probably is close, I feel it is high time to just change the journal entry on the top of this page. So last year, I was broke, homeless, preparing to get divorced, ...oh and jobless. in the past year things have changed a bit. I currently have more than 5 dollars in my account, and a full tank of gas I'm still living with my friend who's let me live in his house in the spare bedroom and pay him in work around the house, cleaning, cooking once a week, and staying out of his hair.  He's a good guy!!!! I cast my future the other day in the tarot deck.  I looked forward and asked the universe what my love life would be like.  I use the method of nine cards, in rows of threes:  Beginning, middle, end.  The first row showed me an image of love and adoration, the second row showed me a picture of turmoil and emotional distress, and the third row literally told me that the future was not clear yet.  So funny.
